If you're blogging using blogger / blogspot, see the sample placement here. Facebook Share is like voting for your blog. Everytime someone clicks the Share button, the number will increase. If you click the Facebook Share button on the blog's frontpage, it means you vote for the blog. If you click the Faebook Share button when you are reading an article of a particular blog, you vote for the article not the blog; so the number will be added for the particular post / article.

Cancel Paypal Payment Subscription

Update 16 October 2009:

I've just cancelled a subscription payment to a webhosting provider. The process seems a bit different with the one mentioned below, there's some changes.

Here's how I did the cancellation process (as per October 2009):

1. After login, history -> basic search -> payment sent

2. There are list of companies or parties you sent money to. Click "details" at the Company name you make a payment subscription -> Transaction details >

2. You'd find this -> Subscription Payment Sent (Unique Transaction ID #XXXXXXXXXXXX)
In reference to: S-XXX26022UU1XXXXXX (link) ->click the "reference to" link -> click "Cancel Subscription" (at the bottom of the page) > Click "Cancel" again to confirm -> This subscription has been cancelled (done).

***

I subscribe to Paypal monthly payment to make payment to a particular webhosting services each month (Hostgator). The thing is it's does not work. Even after I make payment, the system in the webhosting still email me to pay the payment due for this month or I will get fine. In another word, I have to pay twice!

So, I wanted to cancel the sickening subscription. The problem is it's not easy to find the right button and tab to cancel it in the Paypal my account. I got through it after several trial.

The following is the official tutorial to cancel (unsubscribe) from Paypal payment subscription.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Question :
Answer :
You can cancel a subscription up until the day of the next scheduled payment. Remember, this cancels all future scheduled payments for that subscription. Step no. 3 & 4 are no longer applied in current Paypal (they obviously need to update their user manual). But certainly it's better than nothing at all:

How to Change Upload URL into SEO Friendly Links

For more blogging tutorial visit here. For how to make money online visit here

Whatever (files, images or videos) you've uploaded s into a self-hosted wordpress, the link path into those files is not pretty. It'll look like this (in my case): http://fatihsyuhud.com/wp-content/uploads/year/month/image.jpg

From esthetical and SEO perspective, this kind of link is not good. The good one should be like this: http://fatihsyuhud.com/downloads/images.jpg or http://fatihsyuhud.com/downloads/video.avi or http://fatihsyuhud.com/downloads/cpns_deplu.pdf, etc

Fortunately, you can easily change that not-SEO friendly link into the one which is not only pretty but also would help you optimize it in the search result pages.

Here's how:

1. After login, click SETTING -> MiSCELLANEOUS.

2. In the "Store uploads in this folder" -> delete "wp-content/uploads" and change it into "downloads"

3. Unchecked the "Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders"

4. Click -> Save Changes. Done.

Now you have a pretty uploaded URL path. Your uploaded file from now on will look like: http://fatihsyuhud.com/downloads/files.pdf, etc..

See the live demo here. (look at the link path URL)

Notes:

1. You may change the word "downloads" into whatever names you want. Wordpress.com uses "files" instead of "downloads".

2. If you've uploaded some images before this change, don't worry. The previous url address will not change. It will change only the future uploaded links.
